Homecoming for a lifetime historic Trappe member.
He became a national known broom maker/ artist for past 48 years. He learned first hand how make brooms, from his shop teacher, at Trappe’s Dewees Tavern in 1975. It began as a fundraising project for a bicentennial event for 1976. Looking forward to show old friends and tell his story about his passion for broom- making. Yes, he still makes brooms daily and all them come with real wooden handles. Also, this event is for the purpose of raising more funding for historic Trappe, so this passion has tirelessly repeat in a full circle.
Please come out to this great chance to visit with many folk artists and purchase wonderful handmade items.
